Service Description

The stresses of day-to-day life can be overwhelming. Touch therapy offers you a full hour of rest and relaxation, which leaves you feeling physically and emotionally restored with nourished skin. Touch therapy offers a range of benefits, primarily focused on reducing stress, pain, and anxiety. It can also improve circulation, promote relaxation, and enhance emotional well-being. It is often used as complementary treatments for various conditions, including chronic pain, anxiety disorders, and even in hospice care to provide comfort and spiritual rejuvenation. Here's a more detailed look at the benefits: Physical Benefits: Pain Relief: Touch therapy can help reduce pain by releasing endorphins and promoting relaxation. Improved Circulation: Increased blood flow can deliver oxygen and nutrients to tissues, aiding in healing. Muscle Relaxation: Tension in muscles can be eased, improving movement and comfort. Lymphatic Drainage: The body's waste and toxin removal process may be enhanced. Reduced Inflammation: By promoting relaxation, touch therapy can help the body reduce its inflammatory response. Mental and Emotional Benefits: Stress and Anxiety Reduction: Touch therapy can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation and lowering stress hormone levels. Emotional Healing: It can be used to address emotional trauma, promote resilience, and facilitate emotional processing. Improved Sleep: By reducing stress and promoting relaxation, touch therapy can improve sleep quality. Enhanced Mood: Lower cortisol levels and increased oxytocin release can lead to improved mood and feelings of well-being. Other Benefits: Spiritual Rejuvenation: In hospice care, therapeutic touch can provide comfort and a sense of connection for patients nearing the end of life. Complementary Therapy: Touch therapies are often used alongside conventional medical treatments to enhance overall well-being. Improved Resilience: By helping individuals cope with stress and challenges, touch therapy can increase their overall resilience. For those who may have physical limitations, Lanette is happy to come to you for an additional fee of $10.
