Acupressure is a traditional healing technique rooted in Chinese medicine that involves applying gentle pressure to specific points on the body, known as acupoints. These points are located along energy pathways called meridians, which are believed to regulate the flow of vital energy, or “qi.” By stimulating these points using fingers, palms, or specialized tools, acupressure helps to balance energy flow, alleviate blockages, and promote natural healing. The benefits of acupressure include relief from stress, anxiety, and tension, improved circulation, reduced pain and inflammation, enhanced digestion, and support for the body’s overall energy and vitality. Clients are asked to conduct an Intake Interview with Lanette, by phone, prior to each session. A treatment plan is developed to the client's needs as they evolve.
